Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz (JGU) brings together a vast array of academic disciplines under the same roof in ten faculties and two artistic schools. With about 30.000 students, JGU is among Germany’s largest universities.
Every year, between 600 and 700 early career researchers receive their doctoral degree at JGU, about 45 postdoctoral researchers attain their postdoctoral lecturing qualification and another 50 hold a junior professorship.
